Electric Lantern

A photorealistic model of an electric lantern. It would be used to light areas within a game world such as a campsite or a room. This model was created in 3DS Max, textured in Mudbox, and produced as an asset for the cave map. The goal of this project was to create a high quality asset with levels of detail while following the industry standard process of building and texturing props from references. Research was conducted throughout this process to aid in the creation of concept art and find reference images and textures for the model. The final result was a detailed model with a functional purpose within the cave map.
